Taylor School students perform poetry readings

In the coffee house tradition, students from Terry A. Taylor Elementary School performed Poetry Readings at Java John's in Spencerport on Saturday, December 7. Students shared poems they had written themselves as well as other favorites. Inspired by the artistic atmosphere, one accomplished poet composed a poem right there at Java John's and presented it immediately to an impressed audience. The spirit of the season was enhanced when a group of students performed holiday songs. Readers included students from the third through sixth grade classes of Mrs. Benson, Mrs. Montenaro, Mrs. Breon and Mrs. Stein.
