join forces for "Cones for Kids" campaign
Easter Seals New York - Western Region and Friendly's Restaurants (Kessler Family, LLC) in Central, Southern and Western New York have teamed up with launching the "Cones For Kids" Campaign 2003 to benefit those with disabilities.
The campaign, to be launched December 31, is being conducted at some 41 Friendly's Restaurant until February 13. Year 2003 will be the campaign's 22nd year in being aligned with Easter Seals.
For every $1 donations to Easter Seals, Friendly's offers, a "Cones for Kids" Valentine Card redeemable for 5 free Kids Cones, or a Coupon Book for adults, valued at more than $35 in savings. Items include such Friendly's favorites as a Classic Sundae with the purchase of one, a 99-cent Kids Meal with any regular meal purchase, a Super Sizzlin Breakfast, buy one, get one free, plus an 8 x 10 color portrait with no sitting fees in cooperation with J.C. Penney Portraits.
In Western New York, Friendly's efforts provides support for various programs to include: Easter Seals Rochester Rookies, Jr. Wheelchair Track and Field Team plus two group homes, one in Brighton, the other Webster, two Rochester suburbs, Ferncliff Housing - Independent Living, Diagnostic & Treatment Center, In-home Respite Services, Residential Habilitation, Service Coordination plus other worthwhile endeavors. Programs aiding the disabled are also conducted in Central and Southern New York.
