Driver Education classes to be offered in Spencerport

There will be a meeting of parents and students who wish to be enrolled in the Spring Driver Education class. The meeting will be held Wednesday, January 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Board of Education meeting room in the Administration Building, 71 Lyell Avenue, Spencerport. The building will be open at 4 p.m.

There will be twenty-eight openings that will be awarded by the student's position in line and in the following order: Spencerport seniors, followed by juniors, then sophomores. Out-of-district residents will be offered any remaining spots by their position in line.

Students will receive instruction in the classroom, behind the wheel, and on the road as required by New York state.

The fee for the class is $325 for Spencerport district students or $335 for out-of-district students.
