Kathleen Berwick, long-time area resident
The communities of Kendall and Holley are mourning the recent death of Kathleen Berwick, a long-time resident of Kendall. Kathy and her husband, Martin, moved to Casco, Maine in August 1999, but Kathy will long be remembered for her many activities including her several terms on the Kendall School Board, substitute teaching and involvement in BOCES.
As a member of St. Mark RC Church, she was active on the Parish Council, the Liturgy and Religious Education Committees, and was involved in the weekly Bible Study Group. She was also very committed to supporting the Kendall Food Cupboard in any way possible.
In Holley, Kathy was a volunteer at the Holley Community Library. She was also a charter member of Friends of the Library, having worked on the Art Shows and Book Sales. Her passion for reading has touched many lives in different ways. Kathy was the beloved wife of Martin, devoted mother of Daniel and his wife Darcy, and Neal.
Friends are invited to a celebration of Kathy's life at a Memorial Mass and reception at St. Mark Church, Kenmore Road, Kendall on Friday, January 24 at 6:30 p.m.
