Rotary exchange student recaps trip to France
Eliza Brannigan, recent Rotary Youth Exchange Program student, spoke to the Brockport Rotary on persons met, places viewed and experiences and lessons gained. She presented a slide show, circulated a scrapbook and pamphlets, and described the high points of her year spent in France. The year away from home was considered by her to be of huge value in becoming a more culturally aware and mature person.
Brannigan, who was a 2001 Brockport CSD graduate, elected to go to France instead of beginning college studies. Returning to the USA last summer, she is now in her first year at SUNY Geneseo where she is pursuing studies in international relations and French. She expressed great appreciation to Rotary for sponsoring her and seeing that she had such a wonderful experience.
