Winter fun to be found in Parma

The Town of Parma invites everyone outside to play on Saturday, February 1 at their Snowfest Celebration. From 4 to 7 p.m. all kinds of free winter activities are planned at Parma Town Hall Park (Route 259). The Hilton Sno-Flyers will be giving snowmobile rides, over 40 pairs of cross-country skis will be available to borrow, horse-drawn wagon rides will traverse the countryside, several carnival-style games with winter themes will be set up for the kids, and ice fishing will be available on our pond. An additional half-dozen fun activities have been organized, concluding with a short but fantastic fireworks display at 6:45 p.m.
