•Bannon, Richard M., Thursday, January 16, 2003 with his loving family at his side. He was born in London, Ontario, Canada on September 8, 1957 to his parents, Michael and Donna Bannon of Spencerport. Beloved brother of Lynda (Ed) DeFrank of Spencerport and Wendy (Tim) Hackett of Churchville; uncle of Doug and Amy Hackett, Mariane, Nicole and Vicki DeFrank; grandson of Clara Fletcher of London, Ontario, Canada; fiance of Tracy Orlop. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada and many dear friends.

Funeral Services were held January 20 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Spring interment. Contributions can be made to Mercy Flight Central, 2420 Brickyard Road, Canandaigua, NY 14424 in his memory.


•Hamlin, Beatrice L. (Marsh), On January 22, 2003 at the age of 85. She is predeceased by her husband, Nelson. Survived by her children, James (Joan), Dennis (Janet), Bonnie (Gary) Callaghan, Richard (Patty) and Harry (Deborah); 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Savage of Michigan.

Funeral Services were held January 24 at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Interment, Lake View Cemetery in the spring. Donations can be made to the Lakeside Foundation in her memory.


•McCaffery, Lee I., On Tuesday, January 21, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret; his children, Michael (Maureen) McCaffery and Lauren McCaffery; his grandchildren, Stacy Gender, Nicholas and Mike Jr. McCaffery; his brother, Harold "Doc" (Jacqueline) McCaffery; brother-in-law, Robert (Terry) Badge. Lee was a WWII Navy Veteran, a member of the Brockport VFW Post #2890 and a life member of the Brockport Firemen's Exempt Association.

A Funeral Service was held January 25 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Spring interment, Lake-view Cemetery. Friends can make contributions to the Brockport Firemen's Exempt Association or the Brock-port VFW Post #2890 in his memory.


•Rogers, Gordon D., January 14, 2003 at the age of 49. He is survived by his beloved children, Luke, Quintin; their mother, Melanie Rogers; parents, Harold and Eileen Rogers; brothers, Bill (Kathleen), Tim (Rosemary), Dick (Mary Ann), Joe (Sherry); sisters, Mary and Ellen; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held January 18 at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery in the spring of the year. Contributions can be made to Luke and Quintin's College Fund, c/o 250 Fayette Street, Brockport, NY 14420.


•VanEecke, Erma T., January 15, 2003, age 75. She is predeceased by her parents, Bertram and Marguerite Boehmer; brothers, Donald Boehmer; son, Geof; daughter, Donna. She is survived by her sons, Alan (Rose), Dale (Cheryl), former husband, Leon; brother, John (Winnie) Boehmer; sister, Evelyn Boehmer-Wolter; cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews.

Before retiring, she worked as a dispatcher for the New York State Police from June 20, 1975 to January 25, 1995. A tiny lady with a big disposition, she survived many heartbreaking events in her life. She loved the outdoors, gardening, the sunshine, and was well known for her baking skills and home recipes with friends and neighbors.

Funeral Services were held January 19 at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Memorial contributions can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.


CHURCHVILLE

•Fodge, Mary E., Saturday, January 18, 2003. She is survived by her beloved brothers, John, James and Charles (Betty) Fodge; several beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said January 21 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. Contributions can be made to GRHC/ Hospice (Inpatient Unit) 70 Metro Park, Rochester, NY 14623 or to the Churchville Lions Club in her memory.


•Johnson, Clarence R. "Hunk," Wednesday, January 22, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn (DeBerger) Johnson; his sons, James (Theresa) Johnson and John (Susan) Johnson; his daughters, Barbara (Robert) Robinson, Jean (John) Leibeck and Mary (Stephen) Gulvin; brother Stanley (Judy) Johnson; sister-in-law, Mildred Johnson; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was an active member of the Churchville Volunteer Fire Department for 66 years, a golf course superintendent for Monroe County for 30 years and was a Churchville Village Trustee for many years.

A Funeral Mass was said January 25 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Churchville Volunteer Fire Department or to the Restoration Fund of St. Vincent DePaul Church in his memory.


HAMLIN

•Lane, Clifford H., On January 21, 2003 at the age of 90. Predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Lane. Survived by his children, Joan (Robert) Halloran, Richard Lane and Harold Lane; eight grandchildren; several great-grand-children; sister, Ruth Beehler; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held January 24 at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment Garland Cemetery in the spring. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Beikirch Care Center in his memory.


HILTON

•Lorimer, Dale S., Wednesday, January 22, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Foster/Mullaly) Lorimer; stepdaughter Shannon (Mark) Scholand; four grandchildren, Lauren, Ryan, Paige and Parker; his mother-in-law, Doris Foster; several nieces and nephews. Dale studied drums at the Eastman School of Music and was a renowned local artist.

Funeral Services were held January 24 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the Hilton Volunteer Ambulance or to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in his memory.


•Mostyn, Edward Henry, January 16, 2003, age 85. Predeceased by brothers, Thomas and Joseph. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Virginia; children, Vivian (Frank) Lureman, John (Lynn) Mostyn; sisters, Arlene Kurdis, Betty Stratton; grandchildren, Jane (Paul) Cassick, Diane (Charles) Lamos, Heather (Ken) Schubert, Kristine Mostyn, Valerie Mostyn; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew, Carly Lamos, Jake Cassick; sister-in-law, Olive Britt; niece, Jane (Larry) Kilmer; nephews, Larry (Kay) Britt, Nelson (Rema) Britt. Ed retired from Eastman Kodak after 42 1/2 years. He was a member of Knights of St. John, Guys Euchre Group, he was also a golfer and bowler.

Funeral Services were held January 20 at St. George's Episcopal Church. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions can be made to John Sable Heart Fund, 22 Boxwood Lane, Fairport 14450 in his memory.


HOLLEY

•Christopher, Margaret "Jenny," Died January 17, 2003. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, the Bereavement Committee and a former member of the Rosary Society. She was a former employee of GE in Brockport and received much pleasure in playing cards and Bingo. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael D., May 15, 2001. She is survived by her son, Michael of Holley; nephew, Dr. Mike (Joy) Crovello of Indiana; nieces, Mara Trerotola of Illinois, Robin (Jim) Smuddle of Illinois; sister-in-law, Joan Crovello of Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said January 20 at St. Mary's Church. Spring interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, St. Mary's Church or the Holley Emergency Squad.


SPENCERPORT

•Barkley, Ethel (Giles), Monday, January 20, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Barkley, her daughter, Lora Barkley and her grandson Douglas Colby. She is survived by her children, Gregory (Kathy) Barkley of Rochester, Fran (David) Colby of Spencerport and Ben (Brenda) Barkley of Spencerport; her two sisters, Marjorie Laney and Margaret Allen, both of Scottsville; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Linda Bess.

A Memorial Service was held January 25 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.


•Kukura, Bernadette, Thursday, January 16, 2003. She was predeceased in 1994 by her husband of 54 years, John F. Kukura, and also by her son, Michael. She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Anne) Kukura and Mark Kukura; her daughters, Sharon (Robert) Azzolina, Donna Wallace, Mary Louise (David) McLean and Margaret (Michael) Magin; 12 grandchildren, Daniel (Joanne) Azzolina, Douglas (Jennifer) Azzolina, Mark, Lee, Craig and Justin Wallace, Patrick and Emily McLean, Stephanie and Jessica Magin, Jonathon and Eric Kukura; great-grandchildren Olivia and Grace Azzolina, Courtney and Carleigh Wallace; brothers-in-law William and Fred (Ginny) Kukura, sister-in-law Winifred Donahue; several nieces and nephews.
