Chili Senior Center programs
Tuesday Talks - The Chili Senior Center offers educational and interesting presentations each Tuesday at 11 a.m. A guest speaker will be featured each week. Coffee provided. There is no charge to participate. January 28 - Scott Pitoniak, D&C sports columnist; February 4 - Carol Ritter, D&C columnist; February 11 - Terry Clifford, WBEE radio personality; February 18 - to be announced; February 25 - Dan Mason - Rochester Red Wings General Manager; March 4 - Margaret DeFrancisco, NYS Lottery; March 11 - Bernadette Foster - Director of Chili Public Library; March 18 - Maggie Brooks, County Clerk; March 25 - Priscilla Minster - Oasis.
Stretch and Strengthen - a Stretch and Strengthen class on Tuesdays beginning February 4 from 2 to 3 p.m. (except first Tuesday of each month when they meet from 3 to 4 p.m.). The class is instructed by Agape Physical Therapy. For information, call the center at 889-6185.
Valentine's Party - Thursday, February 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch includes orange glazed ham with scalloped potatoes, tomato bisque soup, dessert. Entertainment by Nostalgia. Register by February 1. The cost is $2. For information call 889-6185.
Euchre Tournament - Saturday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ten games will be played with prizes awarded. Lunch provided. New partners each game. Players must be knowledgeable of the game, no instruction will be given. Tournament rules may be picked up at the center after February 18. The cost is $5. Participants must be 55 or older. Great Scrabble Challenge - Friday, February 28 from 10 a.m. to noon. Refreshments and prizes will be awarded. Boards are provided. Pre-registration required. There is no charge to play. Call 889-6185 for information.
Lunch Club 60 - a hot, nutritious lunch every Monday and Thursday at noon. Seniors age 60 and older and their spouse of any age are eligible for lunch. Suggested contribution is only $2 ($4 required for those under 60). Reservations required. Call 889-6185.
