Chili Recreation offers recess activities

All Recess Programs require pre-registration and payment by February 14. Horizons Roller Skating: Tuesday, February 18. Buses will leave 11:30 a.m. and return 3 p.m. Skating time will be 12-2:30 p.m. Fee for resident is $8, non resident $9. This includes admission, skates, pizza, pop. Children under seven must be accompanied by an adult. Winter Recess Day: On Wednesday, February 19, enjoy some time at the lodge in Black Creek Park. Inside, board games and pizza.

Outside activities: Nature walk, snowman contest, and sledding (bring sled), from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (parents drop off and pick-up). The fee for residents is $3.50, non residents $4.50. Children under seven must be accompanied by an adult.

Bowling at Olympic Bowl: Thursday, February 20, buses will leave 9:15 a.m. and return 11:45 a.m. The fee is $7, non resident $8. Includes two games, shoes, pizza, pop. Bumper Bowling is available. Children under seven must be accompanied by an adult.

Game Mania: Thursday, February 20, an afternoon filled with fun and games. Including Monopoly, Chinese Checkers, Scrabble, Uno, Yahtzee, Aggrevation, Harry Potter, and cards. Snack will be provided. The time is from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Community Center for grades 1-8. The fee for residents is $1, non residents $2. Children under seven must be accompanied by an adult.

Polarwave Snow Tubing: Friday, February 21. Snowtubing is a downhill ride that runs on specially designed snowtubes. Hills groomed in "chutes" resemble snow-built waves. Runs for children and adults. Buses leave 9 a.m. and return approximately 12:45 p.m. The fee is $11 for residents, $12 for non-resident. Children under seven must be accompanied by an adult.

American Red Cross Babysitting Course: Friday, February 21 at the Community Center, 4400 Buffalo Road from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ages 11 and up. The fee for resident is $30, non resident $32. Bring bag lunch, notebook and pen.

A Special One Day Trip to Swain: On Thursday, February 20. Buses will leave from 3235 Chili Avenue at 8 a.m. and return 6 p.m. The lift ticket will be $32, ski rental $18, snow board rental $23 and bus (required) $10. Youths 10-18 and parents are welcome. Pre registration required by February 14. Minimum of 30 registrations needed to hold program. Must purchase lift ticket to participate in program.
