New Executive Director to lead
Monroe County Dem Committee
Irondequoit native Andrea Guzzetta has been appointed executive director for the Monroe County Democratic Party, according to Democratic Committee Chair Molly Clifford.
Guzzetta, who served as former chair Ted O'Brien's administrative assistant, is a 1996 graduate of East Ridge High School and holds a bachelor's degree in History from SUNY Brockport. Beginning as an intern during the New York State Senate Campaign of Hillary Clinton, Guzzetta has become a seasoned veteran of the campaign wars. During her two years she's racked up experience on Rochester Mayor Bill Johnson's successful 2001 re-election bid, the Democrats' 2001 County Legislature victories and most recently as Campaign Manager for Fred Amato's campaign for the 134th assembly district.
Guzzetta is currently a graduate student at Brockport State where she is studying public administration.
