Clark leads Brockport in Women's Basketball win

Senior forward Kristen Clark (Hilton/Hilton) scored 29 points in Brockport's 77-54 win over SUNY Fredonia. With the win, Brockport remains undefeated in the SUNYAC improving to 5-0, 11-3 overall. Fredonia falls to 7-9, 3-5 in the conference.

Clark shot 69 percent from the field (11-of-16) and a perfect 7-of-7 from the charity stripe. Senior guard Colleen Tabor (Ballston Lake/Shenendehowa) finished with 14 points in the win for the Golden Eagles.

Brockport was out-rebounded 42-34 by the Blue Devils. Fredonia senior Kim Guenther (Lancaster/Lancaster) had a game high ten rebounds and also led her team in scoring with 17 points.

The Golden Eagles shot 94 percent from the foul line (17-of-18) while Fredonia was just 11-of-17 (65 percent). Brockport also forced 31 turnovers with 20 steals. Junior Jessica Welch (Palmyra/Palmyra-Macedon) had a game high five steals and seven assists for Brockport.
