Brockport police make arrest
Following an eight-hour period early on Sunday morning, Brockport police arrested a man after he had allegedly been terrorizing an ex-girlfriend.
A male, 27, of Capen Road, Brockport was charged with burglary first, assault third, criminal contempt in the first degree because he violated the order of protection, and unlawful imprisonment.
The subject apparently kicked down the door of his ex-girlfriend's apartment, cut the phone cords, threatened her with a screwdriver and held her against her will until 10 a.m. on February 1, according to police officials.
Officers Stephen Misiti and Joseph Morabito responded. The subject was arraigned and remanded to Monroe County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond. The victim received minor injuries.
