Knights of Columbus free-throw contest results

Two Hilton area youths were successful in the District Competition of the state-wide Free Throw Shooting Contest, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.

Shane Galatio advanced in the 13-year old boys division, while Maggie Johnson was successful in the 11-year old girls division.

Both youngsters sank more free throws than their competition and will advance to the regional level of the tournament to be held at St. Jude's Church on Lyell Road on Saturday morning, March 1 at 10 a.m.

The finals will be held at West Point Academy later in the spring.
