All-American Concert by RWCCO

The Roberts Wesleyan College-Community Orchestra will be presenting an evening of American music on Saturday, March 1. In addition to music by Aaron Copland and other American composers, Jeff Tyzik, the conductor of the RWCCO this season, will conduct the world premiere of his own Overture composition. His daughter, Jami, will be the guest vocalist. The Copland selections will include "The Red Pony Suite" and "The Outdoor Overture."

The concert will be performed in Hale Auditorium in the Roberts Cultural Life Center at 7:30 p.m. The pre-concert chat by Tyzik is at 7 p.m. in the auditorium and doors will be open at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets are $6 and available at the Roberts Box Office, 594-6008. Hours at the box office are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and the evening of the concert. Free admission for all students and children.
