Area residents receive Bishop Kearney scholarships
Bishop Kearney High School scholarship award winners were announced for the class of 2007 by Mark Ball, director of Marketing and Public Relations.
The President's Scholarship was awarded to Vincent Lanzafame. Lanzafame, of Hilton, will receive half tuition for his freshman year and $1,000 for the next three years. He was also awarded the Cardinal Mooney Alumni Scholarship receiving $500 each year. Finally, Lanzafame was awarded the Jeanne Bromka Academic Scholarship, adding another $500 per year at Kearney.
The Dr. Mark Clark Alumni Scholarship was awarded to Ashley Ettaro and Joseph Rogers, both of Hilton. Each student will receive $500 per year at Kearney.
Andrew Bauch, of Hamlin, has been awarded the Dr. Edmund Ignatius Rice Scholarship. Andrew will receive $1,000 per year at Kearney.
Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the Scholarship and Awards Reception on February 25 at 7 p.m. at Bishop Kearney.
