Information night being held at WE-MO-CO

The WE-MO-CO Career and Technical Education Center will hold an Information Night for students and parents to learn about educational opportunities in different career and technical fields. The Information Night on Wednesday, March 12 will be held at WE-MO-CO, 3589 Big Ridge Road in Spencerport from 6 to 8 p.m. Participants can visit up to three classes of their choice where they will learn about class content, requirements and structure; meet current students, faculty and staff; participate in classroom activities and hear about opportunities for students once they complete the course. Commercial art and advertising design, baking, culinary arts, carpentry, automotive collision repair technology, computer information systems, dental assisting, and machine shop are just a few of the courses offered at the Information Night. Although the Information Night is specifically geared toward eighth- and tenth-grade students who are interested in attending WE-MO-CO during high school, the event is also open to the public. WE-MO-CO serves students in the following districts: Brockport, Churchville-Chili, Gates Chili, Greece, Hilton, Holley, Kendall, Spencerport, and Wheatland-Chili.
