Orleans County American Legion
offers nursing scholarship

The Orleans County American Legion is offering a nursing scholarship to an Orleans County resident who will graduate from high school in June 2003. Applications are now available in your school counselor's office in the following school districts: Albion, Holley, Kendall, Lyndonville and Medina.

The scholarship winner must be accepted into an accredited program leading to a degree in nursing. The scholarship will be awarded over a two-year period, $500 each year.

You may also contact your local American Legion Post for the legionnaire on the scholarship committee for additional information. The applications must reach the appropriate committee member by Saturday, April 12.
