sponsors B-B Alumni Hall of Fame

The Byron-Bergen Educational Foundation (B.B.E.F.) is sponsoring a new initiative to provide students with positive role models and to challenge their imaginations. Beginning this year and becoming an annual event, the Foundation will sponsor an Alumni Hall of Fame which will recognize the accomplishments of graduates of the Byron-Bergen School District or its component schools before consolidation.

The Hall of Fame will be housed in the High School adjacent to the Auditorium and will consist of plaques honoring the inductees and their accomplishments. A ceremony and reception are being planned in conjunction with the induction of the Hall of Fame's members.

The nomination form is available at school offices or by contacting Gayla Starowitz at 494-1200, ext. 2229. Forms need to be returned to Gregory Geer, Superintendent of Schools, by April 28 for consideration with the inaugural class of the Hall of Fame. Nominations will remain active for three years after submittal and nominees must have graduated at least fifteen (15) years ago.
