County dems honor volunteers

Monroe County Democrats honored volunteers at the 8th Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner at the Harro East Ballroom.

Betsy Relin, who just retired as Democratic Commissioner of the Board of Elections, received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Other winners included: Other winners included: Activist Organization of the Year - Sheet Metal Workers Local 46; Committee Person of the Year - Ruth Scott, Rochester; Campaign Volunteer of the Year - Patty Rzepka, Perinton; Election Inspectors of the Year - Janette Masetta, Rochester, and Tim and Mart Westbrook, Penfield; Fundraiser of the Year - Ted O'Brien, Irondequoit; Local Committee Leader of the Year - Jason Elliotto, Chili; Party Volunteer of the Year - Rob Simon, Brighton.
