Golden Eagles win at Ithaca

The SUNY Brockport gymnastics team broke the school's team record for the fourth time this season with 183.125 points and a first place finish at the Harriet Marranca Memorial Invitational at Ithaca College, February 22. Host Ithaca came in second with 183.000 points. Cortland was third with 180.075, followed by Rhode Island (178.900) and Wilson (171.375).

Junior Carrie Santore (Webster/Webster) won the all-around with 37.150 points. She had a season best 9.375 on the vault, a third place finish on bars (9.050), and first place on the floor exercise along with teammate sophomore Jordan Christiano (Hilton/Hilton) with a 9.625. Christiano furnished fifth in the all-around with 35.900 points.

Junior Jessica Bowman (Oswego/Oswego) placed third on the vault with a 9.350 and was fourth on the beam with a career best 9.475. Freshman Kristin Sheerin (Cohasset, MA/Cohasset) led the Golden Eagles with a 9.500 and a third place finish on the beam.
