Women's History Month celebrated
Susan B. Anthony overcame many obstacles in her quest for equal rights among men and women. In celebration of Women's History Month, the Brockport Central School District invites the community to learn more about Susan B. Anthony and other women who have helped pave the way for women today. Shawn D. Ruger, a 1995 Brockport High School graduate, is funding the presentations as part of a foundation he is starting in his grandmother's name, Dorothy J. Ruger, to promote gender equity in our society. This is the first of many programs that Ruger hopes to fund at BCSD and at schools throughout the United States.
