Monroe Community College hosts honors reception

Monroe Community College will be hosting an honors reception at the college's Brighton Campus, 1000 East Henrietta Road, on Thursday, March 27, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for area high school students who have excelled academically.

Honors students and their parents will learn about MCC's Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, which is recognized as one of the top chapters in New York state and ranked in the top 100 of 1,200 chapters worldwide. Attendees will also receive information on the college's honors program and accelerated degree option, learn about opportunities to earn college credit while in high school and attend admissions and financial aid information sessions.
