Camp Good Days summer camping applications available
Camp Good Days and Special Times has applications available now for all of the summer residential camping programs for summer 2003. Camp Good Days provides camping experiences and more for children and families whose lives have been touched by cancer, AIDS, sickle cell anemia or violence. All residential camping programs take place at the Camp Good Days Recreational Facility, located on 13-1/2 acres of lakefront property on Keuka Lake in Branchport, New York.
Applications are available for Camp Good Days, for children touched by cancer; Camp Childhood USA (Understanding, Support & Assistance), for children who have a parent or sibling that has been diagnosed with cancer within the last three years or is actively undergoing treatment; Camp B&ST (Brothers & Sisters Together), for children who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer; Camp KOPE (Kids Overcoming Pain Episodes), for children with sickle cell anemia; Camp Sharing & Caring, for children who have lost a family member to violence; Do the Right Thing, for recipients of the Rochester Police Departments Do the Right Thing Award; and Camp Courage/TLC (Time & Love for Children), for children who have been infected or affected by the HIV/AIDS Virus.
Camp Good Days offers numerous activity areas at the Recreational Facility including arts and crafts, computers, music and drama, indoor climbing wall, Project Adventure Ropes Course, in-ground swimming pool, nature, woodworking, go-carts, miniature golf and 600 feet of waterfront. Camp Good Days summer programs are under the direction of Camp Director Wendy Bleier-Mervis and Program Director, Shannon Grieve. Children ages 8-17 who qualify for any of the programs are welcome to attend. The only fee associated with attending a program at Camp Good Days is a $25 registration fee, for which scholarships are available if need be.
