CCJHS talent show announces winners

The Churchville-Chili Junior High School presented its fifth Annual Talent Show, under the direction of Karen Farruggia, on March 7. This year's show had the theme Sensational Seventies. All entrants had to use music from the 1970s.

The evening consisted of a mix of song and dance. First place was awarded to Liana Gabel and Steve Monna. Second place went to Brianna Versluys, and third place was presented to Shannon Strollo. The winners were chosen from a panel of judges made up of JHS faculty and past participants of the talent show.

Karen Farruggia started the JHS Talent Show five years ago. It was a dream she had so that students who participated could gain self esteem and confidence. Farruggia's dream has become a reality as the talent show sells out yearly.
