Martial arts team places in tournament

The International Federation of Karate (IFK Kyokushin) recently sent a team to Montreal Canada to compete in teh Mas Oyama World Cup Karate Tournament held March 8. The tournament had divisions in Kata, point fighting, full contact fighting with pads, and the premier event, Knockdown fighting, full cotact karage without pads. This interational event had over seventy fighters from Canada, Puerto Rico, Costa Rico, Brazil, Europe and the United States. Local team members were from S&S Fitness Gym & Martial Arts Center in Hamlin and the Kyokushin Karate Fitness USA in Rochester.
