Petitions available for
Spencerport Board of Education seats
Candidates wishing to run for the Spencerport Central School Board of Education must submit petitions to the district clerk by Friday, April 18, 2003 at 4 p.m. The terms of board members Lawrence Fenity, who has decided not to run again, and Diana Powell-Keery expire on June 30, 2003.
Petitions must contain the signatures of at least 56 qualified voters of the school district. A qualified voter is any person who is a United States citizen, at least 18 years old and a resident of the school district for at least 30 days prior to the date of the election. Petitions are available in the district clerk's office, 71 Lyell Avenue, during regular business hours.
The Spencerport Budget Hearing and Candidate Information Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 13 at 7 p.m. in the board room at the Administration Building, 71 Lyell Avenue. Residents will vote on the board candidates and the school budget on Tuesday, May 20.
