Army Pfc. Angela M. Marks has graduated from the automated logistical specialist advanced individual training (AIT) course at Fort Lee, Petersburg, Virginia.

Marks is the daughter of Laurie L. Dack of Holley, and a 2002 graduate of Holley High School.


Air Force Airman Tammy J. Panter has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Panter is the daughter of Victoria Wyant of Brockport.


Petty Officer Third Class Daniel Anderson graduated from Nuclear Field A-School on March 21 in Charleston, South Carolina.

EM 3 Anderson joined the Navy in July 2002, upon graduation from Byron-Bergen Central School. He will begin Nuclear Naval Power Training Command (NNPTC) Power School in May 2003 and will continue to be stationed in Charleston, South Carolina.

He is scheduled to complete his training with the NNPTC in 2004 and will then serve aboard a nuclear powered ship or submarine. He will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the electrical systems of the nuclear reactor powering the ship.

EM 3 Anderson is the son of Mark and Cindy Anderson of Bergen. His brother, EM 2 Aaron Anderson, is stationed aboard the USS Nassau in the Persian Gulf as chief flight deck electrician.


Sgt. Brian J. Cranmer, USMC Reserves, serving with Truck Company, Headquarters Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Erie, Pennsylvania, was deployed to the Middle East on March 8. Brian is a 1990 graduate of Spencerport High School, Monroe Community College, and SUNY Brockport. Sgt. Cranmer served 4 years active duty stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and Okinawa, Japan.

He is the son of Walter and Gail Cranmer of Spencerport, and the husband of Shanna Morabito. She has a daughter, Alexandria.
