Byron-Bergen readers meet Mrs. Toggle and Axle Annie

Mrs. Toggle and Axle Annie, characters from Robin Pulver's book, visited Byron-Bergen Elementary School. Axle Annie rode her school bus right to Byron-Bergen Elementary School. Mrs. Toggle took a group of students to meet Axle Annie. They were greeted in typical Axle Annie style and treated to a special snack. The students wrote post cards to their favorite characters from Pulver's books.

Mrs. Toggle introduced author Robin Pulver to the students at Byron-Bergen Elementary School on April 1. The students have read her books and were excited to learn how she created characters and where she got ideas for new stories.

The students at BB Elementary are "zipping into reading" to celebrate National Library Week. Students have been reading, writing, speaking and listening to celebrate National Library Week. The visit from Robin Pulver and characters Axle Annie and Mrs. Toggle were highlights of the week's events.
