PeeWee team wins Year End Classic The Tri-County PeeWee Tier III Travel Team defeated the North Virginia Ice Dawgs 4-3 on St. Patrick's Day weekend to capture the Pittsburgh 2003 Year End Classic. The winning goal was scored by Brandon Miner with 5:02 minutes remaining in the third period. If that name is familiar, Brandon is the brother of Jarrod Miner who scored the game winning overtime goal in the 2003 NYS State High School Division A Championship game.
