B-B board adopts budget
At the Thursday, April 10 meeting, the Byron-Bergen Board of Education adopted the 2003-2004 school budget of $15,400,496. This represents a budget-to-budget spending increase of .58 percent.
This increase will result in an approximate increase in the tax levy of 5.8 percent to offset the district's loss of $395,114 in state aide revenues.
A public hearing on the budget is scheduled for 7 p.m., May 13, in the high school auditorium.
