Chili Lions Club holds annual geranium sale
The Lions Club of Chili is in full swing planning their 18th annual geranium sale. The flowers arrive fresh from the greenhouse the morning of May 9. Lions will pack pre-sale orders and have them ready for pick-up after 1 p.m. Friday, May 9 or Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To choose flowers ahead of time, call either Lion Tom or Bonnie at 247-2958, Lion Art or Jean at 247-1047 or Lion Dom or Anita at 594-0839.
Choice of colors are red, white, pink, purple or variegated red. These flowers come in three-inch pots and are grown from cuttings. These are not bedding geraniums. Flowers will be sold to the public on Saturday, May 10 from 8 a.m. until sold out.
Monies raised from this sale will be used to help complete the renovations of the playgrounds in Chili and also help people in need. The Lions Club of Chili offers free use of medical equipment to Chili residents. Should one need to borrow medical equipment, call either Lion Dom at 594-0839, Lion Don at 594-9606 or Bob at 594-8512.
