Hamlin Recreation will be holding a local competition for the New York State Pitch, Hit and Run on Saturday, May 3 at 1 p.m. This is a free competition for all girls and boys ages 7 to 14 (as of July 17, 2003). Provide a copy of birth certificate on day of competition and parents must sign a registration form. Age groups are 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14.

The competition features three baseball skills: hitting, pitching, and base running and will be held at the Town Hall in Hamlin. Youngsters who excel at the local competition will advance to sectional competition. For more information or questions call 964-7222.
