Spencerport's Family Support Center, located at the Administration Building at 71 Lyell Avenue, is now open. Accessible to all families living in the Spencerport School District, the center has flexible, convenient hours and provides a variety of family and community services. In addition to a resource library, the center will provide counseling and support group services and prevention programs including educational presentations for district families.

The center is currently working with a number of students and community adults to plan a Youth Fest on May 17 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Taylor Elementary School. The Youth Fest will be open to all district families at no cost and will feature student led activities and talents.

The center is funded through a federal grant secured through the Town of Ogden and the Village of Spencerport, and other community agencies. For information or to contact FSC staff, call 349-5155.
