A "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" Reading Contest is being held at the Parma Public Library.

The grand prize winner's name will be drawn on Monday, July 28, from all entries submitted county wide. The winner will receive six free tickets to the Tuesday, August 12 Red Wings Game where the winner will have the opportunity to throw out the first pitch. A free dinner for six at Jillian's Restaurant is part of the grand prize as well as limousine service to and from Jillian's and the baseball game for the winner's group. One runner-up from each library will be selected to win two free tickets to the August 12 game.

The contest, sponsored by Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP, runs from May 1 to July 25 and is open to students in grades 4-8. An entry form can be submitted for every book read. Entry blanks are available at the Parma Public Library. For information call the Parma Library at 392-8350.
