Auditions scheduled for boys' and young men's choir
Auditions are being held for the WolfGang Choir, an all-male chorus of boys and young men. WolfGang includes boys whose voices have changed as well as those who are still singing in their first voices.
The WolfGang Chorus is part of the Amadeus Chorale, a well-established singing group of exceptional children and youth, which is not affiliated with a religion, school or university. Members of the WolfGang have sung on Peter Jennings' "World News Tonight" Fourth of July Special, for Secretary of State Colin Powell, and in Independence Hall.
Director Darla Bair is holding auditions in the Rochester area for any male singer currently in sixth through eleventh grades. Rehearsals include theory training as it relates to the song material. The chorus rehearses in Brockport three times a month from September through May. For information or an audition time, contact the group's office 494-1795 or visit amadeuschorale@aol.com.
