The pre-kindergarten children of St. John Lutheran Preschool, through the Brockport Central School District, had the opportunity to experience what it will be like to ride the school bus on the first day of school. BCSD provided a bus driver, a bus driver trainee, and a school bus to teach the children school bus safety. The children learned how to board, buckle-up and to speak softly on the bus. They also learned important safety rules concerning routine crossing procedures and emergency exiting. BCSD supplied coloring books to remind the children of what they had learned.
