The nice weather has arrived just in time for Lakeside's 12th Annual Golf Classic to be held on Monday, June 9 at Stafford Country Club in Stafford. All proceeds will benefit Lakeside Health System services.

Last year's event netted $15,600 for Lakeside.

Lakeside's golf classic features a scramble format; shot-gun start immediately following lunch; a hole-in-one contest to win a 2003 automobile; dinner; prizes awarded for men's, women's and mixed team divisions and longest drive and closest to the pin. Many exciting items will be available at a Silent Auction to be held at the event, including tickets to the LPGA. You don't have to be an excellent golfer to win a prize - there will be a drawing for airline tickets for two, tickets for a Toronto/Blue Jays game and $100.

The field is limited to 144 golfers. Reservations are still available. To participate as a golfer or a sponsor of the event, call Lakeside Foundation at 395-6049 to register or for information.
