The Churchville-Chili (C-C) Sports Boosters Club will host the annual Sports Banquet on June 2 at the Diplomat Party House. The banquet honors the school district's athletes. Winners of several scholarships will be announced at this banquet.

The guest speaker for the banquet will be Marie Curran, head softball coach at the University of Buffalo (UB). Curran was named head softball coach on May 6, 1999. In 2000, her first year as head coach, she guided the UB Bulls to their first season of Division I competition. Highlights in Curran's career include two NCAA Division III National Champions in 1989 and 1992, First Team National Softball Coaches Association All-American in 1993, and Player of the Year for the New Jersey (NJ) Athletic Conference, Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference and the NJ State Interscholastic Athletic Association.

Tickets to the sports banquet are available at the C-C athletic office and the senior high school. Ticket prices are $6 for student athletes that participated in modified, JV or Varsity sports 2002-2003 school season and $14 for all other students and adults. The Churchville-Chili Sports Booster Club subsidized tickets for student athletes. The banquet begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
