The improved, single-lane Gallup Road bridge spanning the Erie Canal in Ogden was opened to traffic June 4.

The bridge has been closed this past winter while concrete features were removed and replaced, including pier sub-structures, end approach spans and new pavement.

The contractor is Crane-Hogan Structural Systems of Spencerport. Work will continue, but no impact to traffic is expected.
