Hilton resident to hold
talent show to benefit Sojourner House
Katie Sereika, daughter of Mary Mendola of Walker Lake Ontario Road and a Bishop Kearney High School junior, will be hosting a talent show to benefit the Sojourner House. Kearney students and faculty members will be presenting their talents Friday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Bishop Kearney's auditorium.
The show is open to the community and tickets will be available at the door for $5. There will also be a collection at the door for toiletries and non-perishable food items.
The Sojourner House is a not-for-profit organization that provides housing and support services for women in need and their children. It provides services for women who are committed to developing stable, independent, and productive lives.
Sereika recently starred in Kearney's production of "Little Shop of Horrors" and has also graced the stage in many RAPA productions.
Bishop Kearney High School is located at 125 Kings Highway South near the corner of North Goodman and East Ridge Road. The auditorium is handicap accessible.
