Clarkson University graduating senior Lisa Dietrich (left) of Rochester and Clarkson University President Denny Brown (center) honor Greece Athena High School retired business teacher Margaret Swingle (right) of Spencerport, at an awards ceremony held earlier this month on the Clarkson campus in Potsdam. Dietrich, along with fellow Clarkson graduating senior Adrianne Schepler also of Rochester, nominated Swingle for the 2003 Clarkson University Inspirational Educator Award. The award recognizes educators who have made an indelible impact on the lives of Clarkson seniors. Swingle was one of the winners chosen from the nominations to receive the award.
