Holley Senior Lindsay Shields gets some tips on how to keep her singing voice in top form from Doug Ahlstedt, voice professor at Carnegie Mellon University and performer. Ahlstedt has sung opera around the world, including at New York's Metropolitan Opera House. His workshop in Holley gave voice students an opportunity to explore ways to develop and maintain good vocal health, and learn more about tone quality, stylistic interpretation, and styles of musicianship in the art of singing. The workshop was sponsored by Young Audiences of Rochester.
