Hilton-Parma seniors plan trip to Buffalo
The Hilton-Parma Seniors will be changing their August trip destination from Stage West Theatre to "The Brown Bag Tour" of Buffalo, a guided tour of various landmarks in the Buffalo area including the Waterfront, City Hall, Millionaire's Row of Homes, Delaware Park, the Anchor Bar and theater district. Everyone will receive a bag to collect goodies along the way featuring local Buffalo favorites. In addition to the many stops, the group will stop for sit-down luncheon at Chef's Restaurant, well known for its Spaghetti Parmesan.
This trip will be on Wednesday, August 6 and depart from the Village Community Center at 8:30 a.m. The cost for the trip will be $40, which includes driver's gratuity. Since the Town of Parma subsidizes this trip, it is open to Parma residents age 55 and up.
Registration for this trip will take place on July 3 in the Ingham Room of the Village Community Center. A random drawing will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Doors to the Ingham Room open at 9:15 a.m.
Note: There will be a meal choice of Lasagna, Spaghetti Parmesan or half Chicken Cacciatore and half spaghetti.
