Assemblyman Bill Reilich participated in the unveiling of the Purple Heart Postage Stamp at the Ridgemont Branch Post Office on June 25. Assemblyman Reilich posed for photos with Purple Heart recipients Ed Weeks, Richard FitzHarris, Vince Cimino and Robert Strong and displayed his father's Purple Heart medal. Assemblyman Reilich's father, William A. Reilich, was wounded twice in active duty and is a Purple Heart medal recipient and was awarded the Oak Leaf Cluster. Bob Scherzi, customer relations coordinator for the United States Postal Service, added William A. Reilich's medal to the display window at the Ridgemont Post Office. Assemblyman Reilich represents residents living in the towns of Greece, Ogden and Sweden.
