Children learn violin through Project ADEPT
Holley kindergartener Jonathan Bower listens intently as he receives instruction on how to play the violin during a Project ADEPT (A Diversified Enrichment Program for the Talented) through BOCES 2. The program was led by Heidianna Terpening, licensed Kindermusik instructor, and Ron Terpening, retired music teacher and accompanist, and began with a historical look at the violin. Students also learned the parts of a violin and how it works, then learned to play "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."
