The Fairbanks Elementary School held their annual "Kids Walk For Charity" April 28 through May 2. The students took pledges and walked laps around the track behind the school and were paid a donation for each lap they completed. The event raised a total of $3,632. The Churchville Lions have used a portion of the donation to purchase a Guide Dog Puppy. The puppy will be trained to assist a person who is blind. The rest of the donation will be used to fund the many other activities and charities the Churchville Lions support.
