Parma Free Center holds graduation
Parma Free Center (formerly Parma Free Methodist Nursery School) held its first Baccalaureate-Graduation service for their 4 and 5 year olds on Friday evening, June 13, 6:30 p.m., at St. Leo Church in Hilton. A processional to "Pomp and Circumstance" with students wearing caps and tassels began the ceremony. Bible songs and skits were presented by the students. Rev. Michael B. Merrill of Parma Christian Fellowship Church gave a short children's sermon. Each student was called forward to receive their graduation certificate and bible. Cake and punch were served to graduates, friends and family following the ceremony.
