Sweden Republicans endorse candidates

Seven Sweden Republican candidates have also been selected by both the Conservative and Independence Parties as their nominees for election this fall, according to Ken Moore, committee leader.

"We are very proud of the records of our incumbent candidates, as well as the abilities and talents being added by Tom Ferris who is running for the first time for Town Board," stated Moore. "Our confidence in this full slate of candidates is obviously shared by the membership of the Conservative and Independence Parties. We are presenting a diverse, intelligent, hard-working slate and look forward to this year's race on all three major party lines," Moore added.

The Sweden Republican/Conservative/Independence Candidates running for election on November 4, 2003 are: Nat (Buddy) Lester, III - supervisor, Patricia Connors - town board, Tom Ferris - town board, Carl Coapman - town justice, Mark Depferd - police justice, Shirley Mercer - receiver of taxes, Fred Perrine - highway superintendent.
