President of BOCES 2 Board reelected
At the annual reorganizational meeting of the Monroe 2-Orleans Board of Cooperative Educational Services on July 14, Dan Cole, Holley, was reelected president of the board. George Howard, Wheatland-Chili, was elected vice-president. Cole has served as president since 1993 and has been a member of the board since 1992. He is the Sales Manager of Factory Direct in Rochester. Howard, a member of the board since 1986, previously served as vice president in 1991 and 1992. Howard is retired from Eastman Kodak Company.
John Abbott, Hilton, and David N. Moore, Spencerport, both incumbents, were re-elected to the Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES Board in April at the annual vote on the BOCES budget and board candidates by component districts. Franklin Downey, Kendall, was elected to his first term on the board. All three took the oath of office at the reorganizational meeting. Abbot is the Assistant Superintendent for Business Administration in the East Irondequoit Central School District. Moore is a retired BOCES 2 administrator. Downey is a mechanic with Eastman Kodak Company.
