Jerry Rowell stands amidst the debris in the aftermath of a July 31 fire at his Hamlin business, Lake Ontario Storage, 640 Orchard Street, located in the former Duffy Mott Co. food processing building. A hundred firefighters from seven departments fought the blaze. Contents of the building included boats and cars. Total loss was estimated at half a million dollars.
